Philip is an Agile coach, Scrum/XP practitioner, and an Agile enthusiast. With 25+ years working experience in IT domain, he is focusing on helping various organizations to adopt Agile. He is familiar with multiple practices in Agile Software Development, e.g, CI/CD, Testing Automation, User Story Mapping, Specification by Example, etc. To improve the overall performance of teams, leaders and organizations, he uses various methods like asking questions, providing reflective observations, facilitating, mentoring, teaching and coaching when it fits.
As an active member of the Agile community in China, Philip has been the organizer/co-organizer and presented topics for the Agile Tour Hangzhou Stop for the past several years. He has also been a volunteer at the first Global Scrum Gathering in Shanghai in 2010 and two subsequent Regional Scrum Gatherings. He is the co-chair of Global Scrum Gathering Shanghai 2015. He is one of the organizers of Regional Scrum Gathering Hangzhou 2016.
Philip translated Jorgen Hesselberg’s book “Unlocking Agility: An Insider’s Guide to Agile Enterprise Transformation” (from English to Chinese). He also participated the translation work of Scrum Guide 2020 Chinese version.
Philip is a Scrum Alliance Certified Team Coach, PMP and CMMI V1.3 ATM (Audit Team Member).
